Respect your Sensei

Respect is a key factor in keeping the classroom in an elementary school organized. It is where one person listens to, and obeys someone else of higher authority, and for those of higher authority, in this case teachers, to adjust to the wants and needs of of those of lesser power, who in this case would be the elementary children. Without respect in the classroom, it would just be a giant moshpit, people not listening, people interrupting, people getting hurt physically and mentally, just utter chaos. So to make it work, a teacher must make sure to establish the fact that s/he is the alpha in the pack, but at the same time not intimidate them so much that they feel they can't even raise their hand in class. Basically the teacher needs to be in control, but let the kids know that s/he will go out of their his/her way to help them with their studies, among other problems. With respect in the classroom, it is like a pansie army camp.
